MagSafe & accessory compatibility
The Solid Red skin is just 0.06 mm thick — well within MagSafe's magnetic alignment range. MagSafe chargers, wallets, and car mounts all work normally over the skin. Qi wireless charging works at full speed. Standard MagSafe cases and third-party shells (OtterBox, Spigen, etc.) slip over the skin without any modification — most customers use a skin under a case for layered scratch protection. The skin does not affect signal strength, antenna performance, or the iPhone's water resistance rating.
Camera Control & Plateau coverage (iPhone 16 / 17 series)
The new Camera Control button on iPhone 16, 16 Pro, 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max requires haptic and capacitive sensing to function. Our skin includes a precision cut-out around the Camera Control so the half-press, full-press, and slide gestures all work exactly as Apple designed them. Same for the Action Button on iPhone 15 Pro+. Install in 5 minutes — even if you've never wrapped before
- Wipe the iPhone with the included alcohol prep wipe and let it air-dry for 30 seconds.
- Peel the backing paper from one corner of the back piece. Do not touch the adhesive.
- Hold the skin above the iPhone and line up the camera cut-outs first; the rest of the alignment follows.
- Lower the skin onto the iPhone from the camera end first. Press from the center outward with the included application card to push out any air.
- Roll the skin onto the side rails. The vinyl conforms to curves; press firmly along the edges.
- Repeat for any front trim, button rings, or port surrounds included with your model.
Air-release adhesive lets you lift, reposition, and re-press as many times as you need before it locks in. If you mess it up during install, email us a photo — we'll send a free replacement, no questions asked.
Care & longevity
Wipe with a damp microfiber cloth and mild soap. Avoid acetone, harsh solvents, and abrasive scrubbers. The protective lamination is rated for 5+ years of daily use, but most customers swap designs every 6–12 months just for the variety. The vinyl pulls off clean and residue-free whenever you're ready for the next look.
Frequently asked questions
Do iPhone skins damage the phone?
No. The 3M™ pressure-sensitive adhesive is engineered for residue-free removal — the same property that lets 3M-wrapped luxury cars peel back to factory paint. We've seen iPhones removed and reapplied for 3+ years with zero residue. Skins do not affect waterproofing, wireless charging, MagSafe, antenna performance, or signal strength.
Does this skin work with MagSafe?
Yes. The vinyl is just 0.06mm thick — well within the MagSafe magnet's effective range. MagSafe chargers, MagSafe wallets, and MagSafe car mounts all work normally. Wireless Qi charging also works without modification.
Can I use a case over the skin?
Yes — and most customers do. The 0.06mm thickness fits comfortably inside any standard MagSafe case, Apple silicone case, OtterBox, Spigen, or third-party shell. The skin protects the iPhone from scratches under the case; the case protects from drops over the skin.
Does it cover the Camera Control button on iPhone 16/17?
Yes. The skin includes a precision cut-out around the Camera Control button so the haptic and capacitive sensing work normally. Same for the Action Button on iPhone 15 Pro+ and the camera plateau on iPhone 17 Pro.
Will it leave residue when I remove it?
No residue. Peel slowly from a corner at a low angle. If any adhesive lifts during removal, dab with a clean cotton ball and a drop of isopropyl alcohol — wipes off immediately.
Does the skin block wireless or MagSafe charging?
No. The vinyl is non-conductive and thin enough to pass MagSafe magnetic alignment and Qi wireless charging coils without any speed reduction.

How long does the install take?

Is the skin waterproof?
Splash- and sweat-resistant. The protective lamination shrugs off normal hand oils, condensation, drink spills, and rain. The skin does not affect the iPhone's IP rating — your phone retains the same water resistance Apple ships from the factory.
