Design Skinz has always held Apple in the highest of regards. It's what we started with, it's something that inspires us, and it's what our entire team uses to produce the gorgeous skins and cases we send out around the world on a daily basis.

Forgoing the normal release cadence of the iPhone 5 and 6, with each getting an updated "S" version, Apple went directly to the iPhone 8, skipping the "S" series completely. This new iPhone is practically the same size (.1mm larger), but comes in 7% heavier. While some are not excited about the added weight, the inclusion of the glass back to allow for wireless charging is a welcome change for those of us that want to cut any cords we can. And don't worry, your iPhone 8 or 8 Plus will still charge wirelessly with one of our skinz - we tested it :)

Thanks to a new A11 Bionic chip set introduced with the new iPhone, expect higher processing speeds and multitasking speeds that are up to 70% faster than those found on the 7 and 7 Plus. The new chip set will also be used to improve the camera experience for users. Photographers love their iPhone photography, and while the hardware found in the 8 and 8 Plus is the same as what the 7 series has to offer, Bionic will help produce better pixel processing, improved low-light auto focus, and will reduce low-light noise.

For many of us, our phones are an extension of who we are.
