Marble Surface V1 Pink — Vinyl Skin Wrap for Every Nintendo Switch (and Every Classic Nintendo Console)
Quarried-look marble on a Nintendo console — expensive taste, gamer budget. Wrap your Nintendo console with the Marble Surface V1 Pink premium vinyl skin from DesignSkinz — printed on 3M™ cast vinyl, precision-cut for the entire Nintendo Switch family plus the classics: from Switch 2 down to the DSi XL. Pick your exact console at checkout, choose Soft Matte for silky grip or Ultra Gloss for glass-deep color, and ship from our USA facility in 1–7 business days.
What you get
- Full-body vinyl skin set, precision-cut for the exact Nintendo console you select
- Cut-outs for every button, joystick, trigger, port, vent, kickstand, IR sensor, NFC reader, and speaker
- Air-release adhesive backing for bubble-free installation
- Application card and step-by-step instructions
- Compatible with Nintendo dock, official carrying cases, and most third-party grip shells
Why a vinyl skin instead of a hard case
A grip case adds 4–8mm of bulk and changes the weight balance of the Joy-Cons. A premium vinyl skin gives you full-body protection from scratches, abrasion, and UV fade without changing how the console feels — your Switch still slots into the dock, fits the official carrying case, and detaches Joy-Cons cleanly. Plus, you can swap the look in ten minutes whenever you're tired of it.
Built right · the materials story
-
3M™ IJ180mC cast vinyl — the same material used on luxury cars and aircraft, not the cheap calendared vinyl most competitors sell

Air-release pressure-sensitive adhesive — repositionable during install, locked-in after 24 hours
-
Crystal-clear protective lamination — UV, scratch, and chemical resistant; rated for 5+ years of daily use
-
Operating temperature −40°F to 220°F — survives airports, road-trip pockets, and 12-hour Tears of the Kingdom marathons

Pick the exact console at checkout. Each one has a different size, button layout, and kickstand — so each gets its own die-cut variant. Don't buy a generic one-size-fits-all wrap; you'll regret it the first time you dock the Switch.
Soft Matte vs Ultra Gloss — which finish is right
-
Soft Matte — silky tactile grip, hides fingerprints, gives the console a Pro-level non-reflective look. Best for handheld and marathon sessions.
-
Ultra Gloss — wet-look depth that makes color art pop like a printed photograph. Best for designs with deep blacks, holographic, or photographic artwork.
Install in 8–12 minutes — even if you've never wrapped before
- Wipe the console, Joy-Cons, and dock with the included alcohol prep wipe.
- Start with the back panel — line up the kickstand cutout first; everything else follows.
- Apply the console front trim around the screen, then wrap the side rails.
- Joy-Cons are last — they have separate front and back pieces. Slide them onto the console once applied.
- Apply the dock back skin (front stays bare so the LED indicator shows).
- Let the adhesive cure for 24 hours before heavy docking or travel.
Air-release adhesive lets you lift, reposition, and re-press as many times as you need before it locks in. If you mess up during install, email a photo — we'll send a free replacement, no questions asked.
Care & longevity
Wipe with a damp microfiber cloth and mild soap. Avoid acetone, harsh solvents, and abrasive scrubbers. The lamination is rated for 5+ years of daily use, but most customers swap designs every 6–12 months for the variety. Pulls off clean and residue-free whenever you're ready for the next look.
Frequently asked questions
Will the skin fit my exact Nintendo console?
Yes — pick your exact console at checkout (Switch 2, Switch OLED, Switch Original, Switch Lite, Pro Controller, Wii, 2DS XL, 3DS XL, or DSi XL). We precision-cut a separate die for every console; you're not buying a one-size-fits-most generic wrap.
Can I dock my Switch with the skin on?
Yes. The vinyl is just 0.06mm thick — well within the dock's tolerance. Switch 2, OLED, and Original all dock normally with the skin applied. The dock connector and cooling vents are precision-cut and unobstructed.
Does the skin affect handheld grip or buttons?
No. Soft Matte gives the console a silky non-slip grip — many customers say it's more comfortable than the bare plastic. Every button, joystick, trigger, vent, IR sensor, and speaker has a precision cut-out.
Will it leave residue when I remove it?
Zero residue. The 3M™ pressure-sensitive adhesive is engineered for residue-free removal, even after years. The same property that lets 3M-wrapped luxury cars peel back to factory paint.
Can I use a grip case or shell over the skin?
Yes. The 0.06mm skin fits inside Hori grips, Skull & Co. shells, JSAUX-style cases, and the official Nintendo carrying case without modification. Many customers go skin-under-grip for layered protection.
Will it interfere with the kickstand?
No. The kickstand cut-out (Switch OLED has a wide kickstand; Original Switch has the narrow flip-style; Switch 2 has the redesigned U-stand) is die-cut for that exact model — kickstand opens, closes, and adjusts normally.
Does the skin block IR, NFC, or Joy-Con sync?
No. The vinyl is non-conductive and non-RF-blocking. Right Joy-Con IR camera, NFC amiibo reader on the right Joy-Con, and Bluetooth pairing all work normally over the skin.
How long does the install take?
About 8–12 minutes for a full Switch + Joy-Cons + dock kit. Five for Lite or Pro Controller. The air-release adhesive lets you lift, reposition, and re-press as many times as you need before it locks in.
Is it waterproof?
Splash- and sweat-resistant. The lamination shrugs off normal hand oils, condensation, and drink spills. Don't dunk it. Switch's IP rating is unchanged.
What's your return policy?
30-day no-questions-asked replacement or refund. If the Marble Surface V1 Pink skin doesn't fit, doesn't apply cleanly, or you just don't love it — email support@designskinz.com and we'll make it right.
